IN PLAIN ENGLISH

Cancel any time; you keep what you paid for until the period ends. Change your mind within 14 days of first subscribing and we refund it in full, no questions. The same 14 days apply to the one-off Lifetime deal. Developer plans and the Lifetime deal are billed by Paddle; Passwave Plus is billed by Apple or Google through the app. Refunds come back through whoever charged you.

1. What this covers

This policy covers everything we sell: our subscriptions, which are Passwave Plus and the paid developer plans, and the Lifetime deal, a one-off €999 purchase of a developer plan. Sections 3 to 5 are about subscriptions; section 6 is about the Lifetime deal. Everything else applies to both.

Passwave Plus is not on sale yet; this policy applies to it from the day it launches.

2. Who you buy from

Who you buy from depends on the product. Developer plans and the Lifetime deal are sold through our website and processed by Paddle, our merchant of record: Paddle runs the checkout, charges your payment method, issues your receipt, and may appear on your statement. Passwave Plus is sold through the app, so Apple or Google takes the payment and issues the receipt. Either way we never see your card details, and refunds go back through whoever charged you, to the payment method you used.

3. Cancelling a subscription

Cancelling stops the next charge. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, and nothing is charged after that. There's no cancellation fee, and no partial refund for the unused remainder of a period, except as the next two sections describe.

Cancel Plus in the app or in your app store's subscription settings; cancel a developer plan from your dashboard.

4. The 14-day cooling-off period

If this is your first purchase of a subscription and you change your mind within 14 days, we refund it in full. No reason needed. This applies to Passwave Plus and to developer subscriptions alike.

5. Renewals you didn't mean to pay

If a subscription renews that you meant to cancel, tell us within 14 days of the charge and we'll refund that renewal.

6. The Lifetime deal

The Lifetime deal is a one-off €999 purchase, not a subscription. Nothing renews and there is no next charge, so there is nothing to cancel: what you bought stays on your project.

If you change your mind within 14 days of buying it, we refund it in full. No reason needed, exactly as for a first subscription purchase.

The purchase also grants a €999 credit balance that takes 50% off each later subscription payment until it runs out. If we refund the purchase, that balance is cancelled, and any credit already taken off a subscription payment is deducted from the refund. A refund therefore returns what you paid, less the value the credit has already given you.

Paddle is the merchant of record for the Lifetime deal, as it is for developer subscriptions: Paddle takes the payment and issues the receipt, and any refund goes back through Paddle to the method you paid with.

7. How to request a refund

For a developer plan or the Lifetime deal: reply to your Paddle receipt email, or look your purchase up at paddle.net. Paddle handles the refund directly.

For Passwave Plus: ask the store that charged you - Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, or Google from your Play order history.

Through us: email hello@passwave.com from the address you subscribed under, and we'll take it up with Paddle or your app store for you.

Refunds go back to the original payment method, and typically arrive within 5 to 10 working days depending on your bank.

8. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy reduces the rights the law gives you. Where consumer law gives you a refund right beyond what's written here, you keep it. Questions:
